i found a lot of inspiration from my trip to india. i wanted to incorporate traditional indian culture along with vintage and victorian designs in our décor. it was a lot of fun experimenting with different ideas and themes to come up with something unique and personal to us. at the ceremony we had an amazing white and gold flower backdrop, big flower balls on white pillars, a cream and gold chaise for the bride to sit on and an aisle lined with candles and vases of water. although i wanted to keep the look of the décor traditional, we used a colour pallete muted with pastels, yet underlined by gold accents. at the reception we used gold beaded glass charger plates, pink satin table clothes with a champagne sequinned overlay, tall candelabras centerpieces with hydrangeas and hanging orchids–all created by Dream Party Décor.
